Chief Executive Officer of Asta Print Hub, Kobby Mawufemor Ashong has been adjudged the CEO of the Year in the Printing Category at the Ghana Industry CEOs Awards held last Saturday.

The award was in honour of the most esteemed business leader in the digital branding and printing industry in Ghana. Other nominees in this category included Kobina Asmah, CEO of Type Company Limited), Eric Kofi Buckman, CEO of Buck Press Limited, Zina Dassa, CEO of Lema Press, Abdul Rahman Shebab, CEO of Khomara Printing Press, Ernest Asiedu Caesar, CEO of Oakpoint Ghana Limited, Richard Karikari, CEO of Image Point Limited.

Mr Ashong edged the award mostly due his firm’s high-end modern printing equipment, expert branding consultancy services and his stellar business leadership that has made Asta Print Hub one of the City’s best digital branding agencies.

Reacting to the award, Mr Ashong expressed gratitude to the organizers for the huge recognition. He commended them for highlighting hard working entrepreneurs who are the backbone of Ghana’s economy.

“First of all, I must say a big thank you to the organizers for honouring me with this trophy.  . I am particularly excited because for many years, Asta Print Hub has been delivering world class services to our clients. I am happy that our good work has been finally recognized. I dedicate this to my wife who doubles as my business partner and all the staff of Asta for the immense effort they put in each day,” he stated.

He further called on stakeholders to support the initiative to help it grow and recgonise the efforts of many more entrepreneurs in other sectors. “This awards ceremony is a wonderful initiative that must be supported and sustained to inspire fellow entrepreneurs to do more. So I call on stakeholders to support the organisers to help grow it so other entrepreneurs who are doing marvellous things is small spaces can also receive the recognition they deserve,” he added.

The Ghana Industry CEOs Awards is powered by The Business Executive, a PAN West African Media, Communications and Events Management Company. This awards event was the second successive ceremony following its inauguration in 2018.
